Hi as part of my intern journey felt me that learning AWS cloud services is very important for the carrier of software engineering. New to AWS but thought to write an article that I have learned so far. this article is under the relevant topic and hopes this might be helpful for you.

The DNS service provided by AWS called AWS Route 53 is one of the most well-known, reliable, and inexpensive services for managing and maintaining domains. In this tutorial on Amazon Route 53, you will learn what Amazon Route 53 is, its benefits and more.

Let’s understand what Amazon Route 53 is technical. AWS Route 53 allows developers and organizations to deploy end-users in their web applications in a very reliable and inexpensive way. It is a Domain Name System (DNS) that translates domain names into IP addresses to direct traffic to your website. In simple terms, it converts Broad Web addresses such as www.nandika.com IP addresses such as 10.20.30.40.

Basically, domain queries are automatically redirected to the nearest DNS server to provide the fastest possible response. If you are using a web hosting company like GoDaddy, it takes 30 minutes to 24 hours to restore the domain to a different IP, but using Route 53 on AWS only takes a few minutes.

However, businesses are not sure what kind of services they want from AWS for their needs. Why? The massive integration of AWS services and the lack of specific information regarding appropriate services for business needs is the root of business confusion. Therefore, it is important for businesses to be aware of the performance, benefits, and uses of the various AWS services.

53 AWS router service is AWS Domain Name System (DNS) service with high availability and high capacity. Also, route 53 helps to check the health and services of domain name registration. Route 53 aims to provide the most reliable and inexpensive way to transport end-users to Internet systems.

The DNS service helps to translate domain names into IP numbers used by computers for communication. Also, Amazon Route 53 has features that help integrate DNS with healthcare tracking services to a secure destination. Additionally, you can also move independent monitoring traffic or alarms to endpoints.

Many people wonder why it is called route 53! The basic explanation for this scepticism is the TCP or UDP port 53. The term ‘router’ in the name of route 53 is inspired by the ‘Route 66 “icon in the USA. Now, you should have cleared your doubts about the AWS DNS service name and why it is called route 53.

Other features of the Amazon 53 router include purchasing and managing domain names alongside configuration DNS settings for specific domains. Also, Route 53 provides an effective link between user requests and AWS-enabled infrastructure. The infrastructure running on AWS includes Amazon EC2 environments, Amazon S3 buckets, or Elastic Load Balancing loading balancers. The use of Route 53 also helps to move users to infrastructure outside of AWS.

Route policies

The next important addition to this amazon teaching route 53 refers to the AWS route policies. Different route routes on route 53 include a simple route, a geolocation route, and a latency-based route. Also, you can find a failover route and failover route-policy 53.

Simple route policy

As the name suggests, this is the most basic type of route. Easy navigation involves answering DNS queries only based on the values ​​in the AWS router table. A simple route policy is ideal in cases where you have a single resource that performs a specific domain function.

For example, if an application server has a public IP address such as 205.251.242.101 and you want a non-readable address on amazon.com, then you can apply a simple route policy. The Amazon 53 route can help map amazon.com to the affected IP. As a result, all amazon.com browser requests will go to 205.251.242.101.

Route Features 53

Route policies and route tables make it easy for Route 53 to operate as a DNS service. However, features of the Amazon 53 route are gaining traction. Let’s take a look at the key features of Route 53 in AWS as follows:

1. The solution

Route “Resolver” feature of Route 53 helps detect duplicate DNS of Amazon VPC and local networks. It also helps in the formulation of conditional transfer rules and DNS repositories. Resolver performance is seen in dealing with custom names hosted on private domains hosted on route 53 or DNS servers.

2. Traffic

Ease of use and cost savings on the 53rd global traffic management route is one of the best. As mentioned above, route 53 helps move end-users to the end of the system. Route policies provide control over the choice of traffic concession terms for end users.

3. Amazon VPC Private DNS

Amazon Route 53 documentation identifies Amazon VPC’s private DNS as the most important feature on Route 53. This feature assists with custom domain management for AWS internal resources. Most importantly, the process does not involve the display of DNS data on a public network.

4. Health screening and monitoring

You can get information about your app’s performance with the help of Route 53. Also, it can help monitor the health and performance of your web servers and other resources.

5. Domain registration

The domain registration service center is the backbone of the Amazon 53 route. Users can search for available domain names and register a domain name at will. Besides, users have the option to transfer existing domain names to administrators’ route 53.
